What is vinyl

Vinyl is not a natural substance. It is a man-made material vinyl is a clear plastic that is made from ethylene and can be made into all sorts of things. We are getting ready to up-cycle an old pool toy into what we would like to make I will be making a pencil case.

Textiles

Today is our second lesson in textiles. In this unit of work, we are entrepreneurs in the making.

So far in this unit, my class talked about ourselves and if we have had any experience in sewing. And what we made We have learned the safety rules and what the names are of the equipment we will be using in sewing.  

Street Art

My art work is about pollution. I started with the idea of  animals. I made three drawings that told a story  about pollution.  Then I pick the two drawings that I liked .

I made a more detailed colour drawing. After that I got a big piece of card made a test painting  picking what colours I liked and seeing what I did not like. After I got given wood to cut out my painting  I covered the wood with Gesso Primer to make it more smoother . Then I drew my drawing and started painting. When doing my painting, I worked on my layers and building it up and then doing touch ups. 

I really like  what I  have done. I think it has a meaning. I think I could work on tidying up the edges and taking my time .

Building a web page

Hi! Today my class tried out this game called coco crunch. You have to design your own Coco Crunch box we had to add cool thing that would make people want to buy this. I decided to make this for kids that like haunted play. Coco Crunch has real chocolate. Coco Crunch also has games, and you can enter a contest to win a free Coco Crunch box but watch out though, the dragon has all the Coco Crunch boxes hidden in a haunted castle.
